Message from Fredrik Karlsson about Pro bono: Leading Lights
Bei der Erstellung dieser Liste spielten mehrere Faktoren eine Rolle. Dazu zählen die Antworten der Kanzleien auf die Umfrage hinsichtlich der Institutionalisierung der Praxis, der geleisteten Arbeit sowie Beispiele für ihre jüngsten Pro-Bono-Fälle. Wir haben zudem Clearingstellen und das Vance Center um Rückmeldung gebeten und die Entwicklung der Pro-Bono-Praxis der Kanzleien berücksichtigt, sofern diese an früheren Umfragen teilgenommen hatten, sowie weitere Recherchen einbezogen. Die Liste umfasst sowohl Giganten der regionalen Anwaltsszene, die erhebliche Ressourcen einbringen, als auch kleine Kanzleien, bei denen persönliches Engagement einen bedeutenden Unterschied bewirken kann.
This is by no means an exhaustive list (for a start, it only mentions firms that participated in our survey), but we hope it will give readers an idea of the efforts that firms across Latin America are taking to provide free legal services to those in need.
