INAI Communication 137/20 issued on May 1, 2020, by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information, and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
INAI unanimously decided to resume the time periods for addressing information and personal data protection requests by the obligated persons that continue operating during the contingency and carry out the essential activities specified by the Ministry of Health.
The period of suspension of time periods and deadlines to handle requests, appeals for review, appeals for non-conformity, and draw of appeals, as well as verification procedures, complaints, and sanctions for obligated persons whose activities are deemed as non-essential by the Health Authority is extended until May 30.
