Communication INAI/113/20 issued on April 8, 2020, by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information, and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
The INAI recommends the following physical, administrative, and technical measures to protect information and personal data during remote work:
Preferably use computer equipment and tools provided by the employeer institution.
- Use computer equipment and tools provided by the employeer organizations.
- When using personal computers, it is recommendable to have a firewall and antivirus with a valid license.
- Avoid connecting to public or free access networks with the equipment enabled for the development of work activities.
- Before saving any information in storage devices, such as hard disks, DVDs, CDs, or USBs, it is advisable to format them.
Review any attachment downloaded to computers or mobile devices with the antivirus software to avoid downloading malicious software that may affect the device or put processed information or personal data at risk.
