Due to the SARS-CoV2 virus (COVID-19) in Mexico, the General Health Council published the Agreement declaring a sanitary emergency due to force majeure in the Federal Official Gazette on March 30 of this year. In compliance with the aforementioned, the Ministry of Health published the Agreement to Establish the Extraordinary Actions to Handle the Health Emergency Created by the SARS-CoV2 Virus on the FOG on March 31, 2020.
Due to COVID-19 in Mexico, several federal and local government agencies have taken measures to mitigate and control health risks related to the virus, such as the suspension of deadlines, time limits, and proceedings cures.
For this reason, Bello, Gallardo, Bonequi y García, S. C. (“BGBG”) presents an informative table of the actions and prevention measures that the various Federal agencies have implemented to address the health emergency.

AGREEMENT establishing the suspension of legal deadlines and time limits | Legal deadlines and time limits at the SFP are suspended from March 23 to April 17 in matters within its competence, which will be understood to be extended for a period equal to the duration of the suspension.
Exceptions are cases of notifications and requirements that the head of the competent administrative unit of the SFP considers to be urgent and relevant. As well as investigation procedures for administrative misconduct initiated ex officio, derived from complaints or audits, and procurement, leasing, and public works procedures deemed urgent, with prior justification to the OIC. In the case of incapacities and justification of absences due to symptoms of respiratory diseases, the agencies may accept the electronic certificates issued by the Social Security authorities. The OIC in the agencies and entities of the Federal Public Administration is responsible for overseeing compliance with these criteria. These criteria are mandatory for the agencies of the APF, including its decentralized administrative bodies, coordinated regulatory bodies in energy matters, the office of the President of the Republic, the Legal Counsel of the Federal Executive, as well as the parastatal entities of the APF.
