What days does PROFECO suspend work?
Through many Agreements, PROFECO has determined the suspension of work due to force majeure from March 23 to May 30, 2020.
Are time limits and deadlines suspended?
Yes. Due to the work suspension, no time limits and deadlines for acts before PROFECO will run.
What kind of formalities in telecommunications matters are suspended?
The deadlines for the registration process of accession agreements of telecommunications services are suspended.
Are conciliation procedures suspended?
No. Conciliation procedures with a hearing date scheduled between March 23 and May 30 will be attended by telephone and, exceptionally, by e-mail.
If applicable, those hearings impossible to attend in the manner specified above will be postponed to the earliest available date after May 30, 2020.
Will consumers of telecommunications services be able to file complaints or claims before PROFECO?
Yes. The consumers of telecommunications services may file complaints or claims for the provision of telecommunications services by sending an e-mail to these e-mail addresses: denunciastelecomunicaciones@profeco.gob.mx and quejastelecomunicaciones@profeco.gob.mx, or by calling the phone numbers (55) 56 25 67 00 and 800 468 8722. The operation hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm and weekends and holidays from 10:00 am to 6:00 pm.
