Communication INAI/129/20 issued on April 23, 2020, by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information, and Protection of Personal Data (INAI).
| In a negotiating table between the INAI and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), new mechanisms were analyzed and proposed to ensure all the social sectors access timely and reliable information regarding the health emergency.
The following was raised at the meeting: To generate guidelines to keep the vulnerable population informed. To create a catalog of essential information and services that the government institutions must provide. To promote the INAI collaboration with strategic agencies and entities to bridge the technological gap and bring information to all social sectors.

It was emphasized the importance of maintaining dialogue among different sectors, and it was assured that the right of access to information had not been eliminated even though the deadlines have been halted due to the suspension of work by government institutions and that they must be resolved when they resume their work.
