The LFPIORPI Regulations establish the provisions necessary for the proper implementation of the Federal Law on the Prevention and Identification of Transactions Involving Illicit Funds. Among other things, they outline the procedures for identifying customers and beneficial owners, the filing of reports, and the supervisory powers of the competent authorities.
This instrument supplements the existing legal framework and provides operational guidelines for complying with obligations related to the prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing.
