July 23, 2025 / Calls for Entries / BGBG Illustration Contest
The call for applications will be open from July 23, 2025, through November 7, 2025
The Mexican law firm Bello, Gallardo, Bonequi y García, S.C. (“bgbg”) hereby invites, through these rules, individuals interested in participating in the 7th bgbg Illustration Contest 2026: “Mexico, Its Festivals and Traditions.”
- Objective.
One of bgbg's initiatives has been to organize illustration contests so that anyone interested in participating can showcase their artistic skills, with the aim of featuring their work in our firm's promotional notebooks.
The winners will be listed on the cover of the booklets, and the booklets will feature all the outstanding works along with information about their authors.
This time, we are seeking the 15 best artistic works to be used digitally and/or in print, primarily in our notebook, as well as in various promotional materials (notebooks, website, brochures, etc.) on the theme “Mexico, its festivals and traditions.”
It’s worth noting that bgbg will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, so this milestone can be seen as another celebration within the theme of the illustrations.
This contest is part of bgbg’s institutional initiatives to foster artistic talent and strengthen its corporate identity through organized, transparent practices that are aligned with our ethical and regulatory compliance principles.
2. Topic.
The theme of this contest will focus on: “Mexico, its festivals and traditions,” including the 25th anniversary of bgbg.
The participating works may reflect Mexico’s cultural, historical, and natural richness, highlighting how its roots are intertwined with the contemporary world.
We want to promote a vision of Mexico that celebrates its traditions and festivals while showcasing how the country and its people contribute to and connect with the rest of the world.
Any Mexican festival or tradition can serve as the subject of an illustration, so the range of themes is very broad, given the diversity of cultures, traditions, and festivals associated with them.
As we mentioned earlier, bgbg will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2026, so providing illustrations that reference this milestone will also be an excellent way to promote the firm.
