Samantha Bermúdez Sánchez is a law student at the National Autonomous University of Mexico. She joined BGBG in June 2024 as an intern in the Intellectual Property practice group, where she has gained solid experience in both administrative and litigation matters.
Among its primary responsibilities are the analysis and drafting of legal documents, petitions, and responses to official communications issued by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property, addressing both procedural and substantive issues. In addition, the firm handles litigation matters, including the preparation and monitoring of administrative and judicial proceedings related to the defense of trademark rights before the Federal Court of Administrative Justice and the National Copyright Institute.
He also plays an active role in handling constitutional appeals (amparo) related to intellectual property, conducting trademark registrability searches and due diligence processes, and providing support for the department’s administrative and internal management activities.
