Romeo is a chemical engineer with 19 years of experience in intellectual property, advising domestic and international clients in both the public and private sectors on the processing of patent, utility model, and industrial design applications—from filing through grant—as well as post-grant maintenance. Romeo has experience in the technical fields covered by the Mexican Institute of Industrial Property (IMPI), namely Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Biotechnology, and Pharmaceutical.

Romeo has contributed to the preparation of technical opinions on patentability and intellectual property infringement, prior art searches, and consultations regarding the filing of patent applications both in Mexico and abroad. He has also conducted technical and administrative analyses of patent applications, utility models, and industrial designs to ensure compliance with Mexican laws and practices, either prior to filing or during the processing of the application.
