Alejandro has over 20 years of experience in the business and legal sectors, particularly in corporate and financial law, including private equity, mergers and acquisitions, and securities law. He has also led and participated in projects related to energy and infrastructure, primarily from a transactional and financial perspective, and has extensive international professional experience advising companies in Europe, the United States, and Latin America.

He is licensed to practice law in both Mexico and Spain and graduated from the Complutense University of Madrid, where he also completed a graduate program. He later earned an LL.M. from Georgetown University and took a course on blockchain technology at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT).

He began his professional career at a prestigious boutique law firm in Spain, advising investors at all stages of mergers and acquisitions, as well as start-ups, and developing legal structures for corporate and tax purposes, participating in debt restructuring and long-term capital refinancing processes, and litigating in commercial matters.

He subsequently spent several years at the Inter-American Development Bank, managing funds and advising on a wide range of investments in Latin America and the Caribbean.

He has been living and working in Mexico since 2016, giving him extensive experience in the local legal sector; he has participated in numerous transactions, advising multinational and domestic companies, domestic and international investment funds, and banks, among others.
