Some members of our Energy and Infrastructure team have worked as General Lawyers and Compliance Officers in Mexican and multinational entities, focusing on regulatory, anti-corruption, and fraud-prevention matters in the energy and infrastructure sector.

BGBG has members with great legal practice regarding Hydrocarbons Exploration and Production in Mexico and abroad. Such members have provided counseling services and have worked as internal lawyers for multinational companies and entities engaged in Exploration, Production, and Oilfield Services for State Oilfield Companies as Independent Lawyers.

The members of the Hydrocarbons Exploration and Production Area of the firm have regularly worked on the following issues:

• Counseling and management for national and international biddings to contract several oilfield services of exploration and production with public and private entities in Mexico and abroad.
• Counseling and management for national and international biddings to contract comprehensive projects of exploration and production for mature field management.
• Counseling and management for national and international biddings to contract DPV and FPSO vessels for oilfield procedure services.
• Representation of companies specialized in exploration and production services and other companies in public and private project financing.
• Representation of companies specialized in exploration and production services in technical and commercial dispute resolution in project execution and development.
• Counseling and management for national and international biddings to contract oilfield services in offshore platforms for oil exploitation campaigns.

In addition, our lawyers have worked as general lawyers and members or secretaries of management boards engaged in Hydrocarbons exploration and production.

Members of the firm have participated in subjects regarding the Energy and Infrastructure area in natural gas storage, transportation, and distribution matters, including, without limitation, the following:

• Representation to Mexican and foreign corporations and their affiliates and subsidiaries in the negotiation and execution of agreements for engineering, procurement, and construction of pipelines and measurement facilities, and natural gas compression for the interconnection and supply of combined-cycle electric power plants working under schemes of independent producer of energy.
• Counseling Mexican and foreign corporations and their affiliates and subsidiaries in the negotiation and execution of agreements for engineering, procurement, and construction of natural gas transportation facilities for industrial plants working under a self-consumption production scheme.
• Counseling Mexican and foreign corporations and their affiliates and subsidiaries in the negotiation and execution of agreements for engineering, procurement, and construction of natural gas distribution networks for distribution companies of natural gas for domestic use.
• Counseling Mexican and foreign corporations and their affiliates and subsidiaries in the negotiation and execution of agreements for engineering, procurement, and construction of natural gas supply stations for vehicular use.
• Counseling Mexican and foreign corporations and their affiliated and subsidiaries in the bidding and execution of agreements for engineering, procurement, and construction of regasification plants of liquefied natural gas (LNG).

In addition, our lawyers have worked as general lawyers and members or secretaries of boards of directors of companies engaged in the design, engineering, and construction of Natural Gas Storage, Transportation, and Distribution facilities.
